Maxamed Xaashi Dhamac 'Gaariye'
'Maxamed Xaashi Dhamac 'Gaarriye' (born 1949 in Hargeysa) is a poet from Somalia.[1] He was member of the Somali National Movement.[2] He has composed one of the best known Somali poems on the theme of reconciliation, "Hagarlaawe" (The Charitable).[3]
